Alpha Performance Volleyball Welcomes Eleanor Beavin as Program Manager and Recruiting Coordinator

Alpha Performance Volleyball Club is proud to announce Eleanor Beavin as its new Program Manager and Recruiting Coordinator. A Kentucky native and decorated collegiate athlete, Beavin joins Alpha’s leadership team with a clear mission: to grow the sport, serve the community, and create champions.

Beavin’s role will center on expanding Alpha’s programming, including seasonal camps and leagues, specialized clinics, and small group training, while leading the club’s recruiting efforts for athletes pursuing collegiate volleyball. Her work will directly support Alpha’s commitment to building inclusive, high-energy opportunities for athletes ages 8–18.

A standout libero at the University of Kentucky, Beavin was a four-year starter and 4x SEC Champion, earning SEC Libero of the Year honors as a freshman and setting the UK program record for career service aces. Her journey began in Louisville, where she played for Union, PNK, MAVA, and Mercy Academy, earning accolades such as 3x KVCA Defensive Player of the Year and 2021 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Eleanor to the Alpha family and offer new opportunities for our athletes and families,” said Becca Just, Co-Director of Alpha. “Her knowledge of the game, both in skill development and the college recruiting process, is invaluable. Bringing her on board helps us keep pushing volleyball forward in Central Kentucky. Eleanor’s mindset and goals align perfectly with the future of Alpha, and we’re excited for the impact she’ll make across our programs.”

“The addition of Eleanor to our staff emphasizes our dedication to promoting quality volleyball in Central Kentucky,” added Rhonda Morris, Co-Director of Alpha. “We’re excited to have someone dedicated to our youngest athletes as well as guiding our elite athletes through the collegiate recruiting process. Eleanor’s personal volleyball accolades speak for themselves, but her ambition for youth volleyball and sincere personality is what makes us most excited about welcoming her to the Alpha Family. Eleanor’s addition is a win-win for Alpha and volleyball in Central Kentucky.”

Beavin currently coaches varsity volleyball at Bryan Station High School and has led clinics, camps, and private training across the state. Her passion for growing the game and mentoring young athletes makes her a perfect fit for Alpha’s culture of hustle, heart, and high standards.

Founded in 2019, Alpha Performance Volleyball is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive volleyball community. With Beavin’s arrival, the club continues its mission to embrace culture, serve others, and create champions, on and off the court.

Eleanor Beavin

Program Manager & Recruiting Coordinator

Eleanor Beavin, a Louisville native, has been involved with the volleyball community in Kentucky since she was seven years old. She played for three volleyball clubs in her hometown (Union, PNK & MAVA) as well as Mercy Academy for her high school play. During her time at Mercy, Beavin was a 4x KHSAA State runner-up, 3x KVCA Defensive Player of the Year, 3x First Team All-State, and the 2021 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year.

She moved on to be a four-year starter at the University of Kentucky as a libero/DS from 2021-2024. In her freshman season, Beavin won the SEC Libero of the Year, was First Team All-SEC, and SEC Freshman Team. She concluded her time as a Wildcat with 1,492 career digs, 118 service aces (UK program record), and as a 4x SEC Champion.

One of Beavin’s biggest passions is giving back to her community through her volleyball expertise and knowledge. She hopes to make Kentucky the premiere state for youth volleyball at all levels. In her transition to coaching, Beavin has held and coached several clinics, camps, and private lessons throughout the state to grow the sport in the Bluegrass. Currently, she coaches at Bryan Station High School for the varsity team. In 2025, Beavin has taken over the Program Manager and Recruiting Coordinator role for Alpha, hoping to grow the club and provide opportunities for all members.
