Coach Ortman is the Alpha Performance President and Assistant Director. Coach Ortman was formerly an Assistant Director for Georgetown Force from 2016 - 2019. In his previous three seasons he served as Coaching Director and Associate Director. He coaches at Royal Spring Middle School and is the Volunteer Assistant at Transylvania University.
He has previously coached with Lafayette High School, Scott County High School, EJ Hayes Middle School and spent two years as a coach for PAL Swat. Prior to coaching he played at the University of Kentucky and was a four year varsity middle at Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis.

I have been coaching middle school volleyball at B Michael Caudill in Richmond, Ky since 2015.  I coached at Madison Central in 2019 and coach at Clark Moore’s Middle school from 2011-2013.
I am currently officiating for KHSAA.
My middle school teams usually finish first or second in the conference every year and always compete for the district championships in all grades.
I love this sport and enjoy teaching it to young girls and seeing their passion grow as they learn the game!!
